The owner of Brooks Brothers, Reebok and other fashion brands has expanded its footprint in Lyndhurst, where it now occupies more than 90,000 square feet of office space.
The company, Sparc Group LLC, has taken an additional 20,000 square feet as part of a recent renewal at 125 Chubb Ave., according to brokers involved with the deal. The 92,794-square-foot transaction was among northern New Jersey’s largest leases of the third quarter.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Curtis Foster and Jerry Shifrin represented ownership at the 278,456-square-foot building, which is located just off Route 17 near the Route 3 interchange. Remy deVarenne of CBRE represented the tenant.
Sparc Group also owns labels such as Aéropostale, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Lucky Brand and Nautica. Formed in 2016, the operator is a joint venture of mall owner Simon Property Group and Authentic Brands, a global brand development company.
Recent upgrades at 125 Chubb Ave., a five-story property, have created enhanced amenity spaces such as new food service and a fitness center, while the building has a full-height glass atrium with glass elevators and a travertine marble facade.
