A pool manufacturer has acquired the site of a 70,000-square-foot industrial building in Millville, under a newly announced transaction by Vantage Commercial.
Brokers with the firm say Leisure Pools, which is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, will use the property at 525 Orange St. for additional capacity on the East Coast. The former occupant was Parker Chomerics, a firm specializing in aviation instrumentation glass, which has consolidated locations and relocated to a larger facility in Boston, after 40 years in the Cumberland County city.
Vantage RES Executive Director Ken Richardson and Corinne Giletto, a senior adviser with the firm, represented both parties, noting that the deal also includes 20 acres of adjacent land. Terms were not disclosed.
“Leisure Pools will enjoy the facility and have the option for future expansion with the additional land adjacent to the plant,” Richardson said. “The Orange Street facility met all of their requirements and ownership had a positive experience working with Vantage and the town of Millville.”
