A development team has brought another 68 luxury apartments to market in western Jersey City, marking the second phase of a project that opened its doors earlier this year.
The newly available rentals at The Agnes, located at 132 Yale Ave., come alongside an initial phase of 145 units that were fully leased less than five months after the start of leasing in late spring. A joint venture of Fields Grade and Blumberg & Freilich Equities is now looking to continue that momentum alongside The Marketing Directors, which remains the leasing agent for the collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes.
Monthly rents start from $1,655, with grand opening incentives.
“We’re excited to build on the success of The Agnes and open the community up to new residents at a time when interest in Jersey City’s West Side is on the rise,” said Greg Russo, a principal with Fields Grade. “The area mixes long-time restaurants, bars and retail establishments with a new crop of shops and cafés while also offering convenient access to downtown Jersey City, Manhattan and points west.”
In a news release, the developers said The Agnes offers high-end apartments, some of which have outdoor space. The property also has more than 10,000 square feet of amenity space, including an outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard and indoor options such as a club room, public and private workspaces, a lounge and a modern fitness center.
Outside the property, renters are minutes from a host of eateries, retailers and park and recreation spaces such as the 273-acre Lincoln Park. The location also provides them with quick access to downtown Jersey City via the nearby Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, while the landlords provide complimentary shuttle service to the Journal Square PATH station.
