Four new tenants are coming to an Edgewater shopping center after a series of leases totaling nearly 6,800 square feet, brokers with RIPCO Real Estate announced Thursday.
The agency team, which represents landlord Capstone Realty Group, said the deals at 725 River Road include a 2,674-square-foot commitment by Rumble Fitness, a full-body, boxing-inspired concept offering group classes. Also leasing space is Laser Away, a national laser hair removal and aesthetic dermatologist provider, which took 1,695 square feet.
Meantime, Pure Bliss Yoga and Northwell Health Medical each leased 1,200 square feet at what’s known as Edgewater Marketplace, which is anchored by Trader Joe’s.
“There is currently a strong demand in our retail market for fitness-, health- and wellness-related brands,” said Deborah Stone, a managing director at RIPCO. “We have been seeing a boom of brands such as Laser Away and Rumble rapidly growing throughout northern New Jersey.
“As a quality lifestyle holds a high importance to the Gen Z and millennial generations, we have found that the combination of food and beverage and health and wellness with an anchored grocer creates an ideal shopping center for visitors looking to spend the day and complete all of their errands in one place.”
In announcing the deals, RIPCO noted that Edgewater Marketplace is home to a mix of retailers including pet care, food and beverage, health and wellness and fitness. The newest operators join recently opened tenants Tribeca Pediatrics and Jersey Mike’s.
Stone represented ownership in the deals, noting that asking rents ranged from $55 to $70 per square foot. Michael Miller of Shopping Center Group represented the tenant in the transaction with Laser Away.
