Accurate has all but completed a new 147-unit luxury apartment building in the Bergen County borough of Emerson, in the latest addition to its fast-growing residential portfolio.
The firm said the property, located at 90 Kinderkamack Road, will provide renters with a new living option in the downtown and a short walk from NJ Transit’s Emerson station. Its plans also call for more than 18,000 square feet of street-level retail, along with amenities such as a lobby-lounge, co-working space, a modern fitness center and a rooftop space with courtyard seating.
“We are happy to announce that Citizen Emerson Station is on track for a fall 2023 debut,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate. “We expect this community to be popular with renters looking for a brand-new, modern residence in an exceptional Bergen County location, right near shops, restaurants and the Emerson train station.”
Designed by Devereaux and Associates, the four-story property houses a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom rental units. Residents boarding at the Emerson train station are roughly 50 minutes from New York Penn Station and 45 minutes from Hoboken, while they’re a short drive from the borough’s several parks, golf courses and athletic facilities.
Accurate noted that the property is the newest piece of its Citizen brand of luxury rental communities, following projects in Bayonne, Bound Brook, Linden and Little Falls. The developer also said it’s slated to bring the concept to locations in Philadelphia, Miami and Fairfield, Connecticut.
