An internationally based furniture seller has leased 7,000 square feet along Route 17 in Paramus, the Goldstein Group said Monday.
In a news release, the retail brokerage said it represented both the landlord, Bersid Co., and the tenant, Pera Design Furniture, in the deal at 695 Route 17 South. Founded in Istanbul, Turkey, the retailer sells high-quality “uniquely contemporary design furniture,” offering customer services such as combining various materials into individual pieces.
Pera Design also specializes in wood workmanship, the news release said.
Chuck Lanyard, president of the Paramus-based brokerage, handled the transaction for the firm.
“The Paramus marketplace has recently seen a significant influx of furniture retailers opening stores within the market,” Lanyard said in a prepared statement. “Many furniture stores, from high end to mid-range, have pursued new locations in this highly desirable retail corridor.”
