Commercial mortgage banking firm G.S. Wilcox & Co. has expanded its team with an eye toward the future, touting the recent hiring of two senior associates.

The Morristown-based firm announced Monday that Rob Logan had joined its ranks, following the recent hire of Wesley Wilcox. In a news release, G.S. Wilcox said both are tasked with supporting the origination and underwriting areas of the business.
Logan has a long history working in structured finance, having spent nine years at ICAP in structured credit products, the firm said. He then joined the real estate debt and structured finance team at Newmark Knight Frank.

Wilcox joined the firm after having worked in the capital markets group at CBRE in Saddle Brook, G.S. Wilcox said in a news release. Before that, he was an analyst in the finance and futures group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
He is currently a developing leader within NAIOP’s New Jersey chapter, the news release said. Both Logan and Wilcox also recently completed New York University’s real estate master’s program.
“Over the past year our firm has undertaken several initiatives to increase both our equity and debt origination capabilities,” said Gretchen Wilcox, founder and president of G.S. Wilcox & Co. “We are looking forward to the continuation of G.S. Wilcox’s success in the marketplace with our recent hiring of the next generation.”
