An appliance store has opened its doors at a Paramus strip center, joining two other tenants to bring the 13,000-square-foot property to full occupancy.
The business, Overstock Appliance Corp., leases 4,680 square feet at 695 Route 17 in a location just south of East Ridgewood Ave., according to The Goldstein Group. Brokers with the firm represented the landlord, Bersid Company LLC, and the tenant in the transaction.
“The 13,000-square-foot strip center was known for many years as the Bruce the Bed King building, who anchored the location for decades,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of the retail brokerage. “We’ve completely re-tenanted the property over the past two years bringing it to full occupancy. The building offers great visibility and is located at the northern end of the Route 17, Paramus retail market.”
Lanyard handled the lease negotiations alongside The Goldstein Group’s Marc Palestina. They noted that other tenants at the property include Pera Design and Kinetic Physical Therapy.
