An urgent care franchise is expanding with a new 3,200-square-foot location in Aberdeen, where it has taken a space once occupied by a restaurant.
The Goldstein Group represented the chain, AFC Urgent Care, in the transaction at 1140 Route 34. The operator’s new home is a freestanding building that formerly housed Kicky’s Restaurant and is now one of the latest among some 200 locations nationwide.
Neil Goldstein, a principal of the Paramus-based retail brokerage, represented AFC Urgent Care, according to a news release. Jerry Rockoff of RKF represented the owner, SG National LLC.
“Urgent Care operations have been a fast-growing business in the retail commercial industry and have been steadily acquiring retail locations for the last few years as they continue to expand and their presence in local communities,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group.
