A fast casual restaurant specializing in Mediterranean-style sandwiches has leased 1,600 square feet in the Journal Square section of Jersey City, brokers with The Goldstein Group said.
The business, Flatbread Grill, recently expanded into the city with its new location at 26 Journal Square. The brokers touted the downtown location’s heavy foot traffic just steps from the Journal Square PATH Station, along with a surrounding pipeline of more than 3,000 residential units and nearby retailers such as McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, and Dunkin Donuts.
Goldstein Group Director Christopher Conway and Sales Associate Richard J. Curran brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant and the landlord, Kushner Cos., which acquired the property in 2016 in partnership with KABR Group.
