A local Habitat for Humanity chapter has leased some 20,000 square feet for a new facility in Hamilton, under a newly announced transaction by Vantage Real Estate Services.
Brokers with the firm represented Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County and Greater Trenton-Princeton in the lease at Independence Plaza, a shopping center at 2465 South Broad St. The organization will use the space for its second ReStore location, an independently owned store operated by the chapter that accepts donations and sells home improvement items to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
“It was a pleasure working with the Vantage RES and Habitat team,” said Michael Jemal of IP Associates, the property owner. “Together we were able to move quickly towards a seamless transaction. We are excited to bring ReStore to the center.”
Vantage RES Adviser Ken Richardson and Monica Walsh, the firm’s director of client services, worked closely with CEO Lori Leonard and Chief Financial Officer John Garton of Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County and Greater Trenton-Princeton.
“We are so appreciative of the support we received from Vantage Real Estate Services while negotiating the lease terms for our second ReStore,” Garton said. “Having the resources available that the Vantage team provides made the process almost effortless for us and allowed for us to continue business as usual knowing the transaction was in good hands.”
