A new 240-unit luxury rental building in the Journal Square section of Jersey City, built by two longtime Hudson County developers, is set to kick off leasing later this month.
The partners, Hartz Mountain Industries and Panepinto Properties, announced the milestone at 3 Journal Square, a building just steps from the neighborhood’s PATH station. The developers have opened a temporary leasing office adjacent to the building at 1 Journal Square Plaza, where prospective renters can preview information and visuals of the new apartments and resort-style amenities, while taking advantage of preleasing opportunities.
The developers have also launched a website at www.threejournalsquare.com, unveiled exterior and lobby renderings and announced that initial move-ins will start mid to late April.
Prices start in the $1,600s for 3 Journal Square’s mix of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, the firms said in a news release. The building includes 12 floors and a penthouse level, giving prospective renters a chance to live in one of the city’s emerging neighborhoods.
