The residential portion of a mixed-use project in Fort Lee is now three-quarters leased, its developers said, touting the milestone less than a year after opening the 276-unit property.
Tucker Development said recently that the complex, Hudson Lights, has reached the 75 percent leased mark thanks to strong demand throughout the summer. The firm said renters have responded to the upscale apartments, ground-floor retail space and a location in downtown Fort Lee and at the foot of the George Washington Bridge.
Tucker developed the nearly 1 million-square-foot residential, retail and entertainment complex in partnership with Kushner Real Estate Group and funds managed by Ares Management. Rents at Hudson Lights start at $2,375 per month for studios.

“We are thrilled with the impressive demand we are seeing in the summer months for the apartments at Hudson Lights,” said Richard Tucker, CEO of Tucker Development. “It has been a joy to watch this community become a centerpiece for downtown Fort Lee’s transformation into a 24-hour, livable and walkable community.”
The complex is anchored by an eight-screen, 533-seat iPic luxury movie theater, while also featuring other eateries and retail offerings. They include Mamoun’s Falafel, Paris Baguette and Anthony Franco’s Pizza, along with operators such as CVS, Capital One Bank, and CycleBar.

Hudson Lights fronts on Lemoine Avenue, Main Street, Park Avenue and Bruce Reynolds Boulevard, sitting opposite a pair of all-glass residential high-rises by SJP Properties known as The Modern. Together, the projects have transformed a 16-acre site that local officials had sought to redevelop for decades.
“Hudson Lights presents a highly unique lifestyle product, not usually found in the New Jersey real estate market,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors, which serves as exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the residences at Hudson Lights. “We are seeing an unparalleled demand this summer for these distinctive residences and the entertainment experience provided to those lucky enough to call Hudson Lights home.”
