IDI Logistics’ top executive on the East Coast is now the firm’s chief strategy officer after being promoted by the Atlanta-based industrial developer.
The company announced this week that Matt Breaux, who was also elevated to east region executive vice president, will lead its disposition strategy, identify new markets for investment and ensure the successful execution of its strategy. It also noted that, since he joined IDI in 2021, the firm has expanded its presence in New Jersey with several land acquisitions and opened an office in East Brunswick with the hiring of Justin Burns as market officer, while spearheading efforts to enter the Charlotte market.
“In two short years, Matt has proven himself to be an indispensable part of the IDI Logistics team,” CEO Mark Saturno said. “His track record of success, in-depth knowledge of industrial markets and strong broker and tenant relationships has increased the company’s presence in the eastern region of the U.S and significantly increased the returns of the company. I look forward to continued successes with Matt in his expanded role.”
Prior to IDI Logistics, Breaux served as senior vice president and market officer at Black Creek Group and president at Hibernia Capital, according to a news release. His expertise includes capital deployment, development, leasing, asset management and dispositions, while he holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Rhodes College.
