Hospital chain Jefferson Health has sold a vacant 27,000-square-foot office building in Voorhees, in a deal arranged by Wolf Commercial Real Estate.
In a news release, the brokerage team said it represented an affiliate listed as Kennedy Property Corp. in its disposition of 1099 White Horse Road, a three-story structure spanning 27,000 square feet. WCRE noted that the property is the former headquarters of Kennedy Health System, which Jefferson Health acquired in 2017, and most recently was occupied by various departments within Jefferson’s New Jersey operation.
Jason Wolf and Evan Zweben spearheaded the deal on behalf of Marlton-based WCRE. An undisclosed buyer purchased the asset for an undisclosed price.
“The sale of a vacant office building is a good sign for the overall office market,” Zweben said. “For all of the talk about the struggles of the office market in general, we had an enormous amount of activity on this property. I am looking forward to watching the buyer put its vision into reality in the coming months.”
