Major upgrades are coming to a 103,000-square-foot shopping center in Edison, which is now fully leased after a recent commitment by a national eye care chain.
The complex, located at 775 Route 1 South, has inked a 3,000-square-foot lease with America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, according to Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty. The North Plainfield-based firm represented the owner of the shopping center, which is anchored by a ShopRite.
David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty represented the tenant, which has more than 600 stores nationally.
Wierks said the property, known as Edison Plaza, is now undergoing a series of renovations aimed at renovating the busy complex.
