Two veteran brokers have joined JLL’s northern New Jersey office leasing team.
Matt McDonough and Daniel Ligorner, both formerly of Transwestern, come to the real estate services firm as managing director and executive vice president, respectively. They are based in JLL’s Parsippany office and will work as part of the North Jersey office team led by Tim Greiner, serving owner and occupier clients in the region.

McDonough, who has a 38-year industry career, most recently was a managing director with Transwestern. JLL touted his extensive understanding of tenant representation as well as a specialty assisting corporations as they acquire facilities.
During his career, McDonough has served as a vice president at top real estate brokerage firms, according to a news release. He holds a bachelor’s in economics and finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

For his part, Ligorner has 32 years of experience. JLL said the former Transwestern managing director has deep experience in organizational and operational leadership, having provided business consulting services to high-performance, high-potential business across health care, media, real estate and entrepreneurship.
Prior to entering commercial real estate, Ligorner served as chief operating officer at a top publishing and media company, providing market-leading information products, the news release said. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh, earning a bachelor’s in psychology and English.
Collectively, McDonough and Ligorner currently represent some 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space in top northern New Jersey submarkets.
