JLL has named a new senior vice president to lead its Northeast industrial project management group.
In her new role, Dana Miarmi will manage a growing team of project managers and spearhead business development efforts under the leadership of the region’s market director, Rob Kossar, and Terry Harris, its chief operating officer, who are both based in JLL’s East Rutherford office. She joins the firm from Mancini Duffy, where she was a managing director, bringing more than 15 years of industry experience.
“Dana brings a rich and diverse range of experience as well as the technical skillset necessary to lead our Northeast industrial project management team,” Harris said. “JLL has differentiated itself in the region by implementing an industrial-dedicated service model across our business lines. Dana’s knowledge and expertise of industrial design and development will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional value for clients. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team.”
Prior to Mancini Duffy, Miarmi served as director of projects and development at SAA Interiors + Architecture, a privately held architectural and interior design company, according to a news release. She has extensive experience in delivering architectural and interiors solutions for a range of manufacturing and industrial clients, including those in the aviation, defense and pharmaceutical industries.
Miarmi holds a master’s in architecture (digital fabrication technology) from the Catholic University of America, from which she graduated magna cum laude and as a valedictorian. She is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a LEED AP certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
“I’m excited to join the JLL team as the industrial market sector continues to accelerate, creating significant opportunity for the growth of the company’s project management business,” Miarmi said. “I look forward to using my experience in industrial architecture as well as my background in technical and process-driven design and management solutions to help our clients address their needs now and as their businesses adapt and expand in the future.”
