A joint venture has sold a grocery-anchored shopping center in New York’s Rockland County for $26.5 million, in a deal by JLL’s Morristown-based capital markets team.
Brokers with the firm represented Mark Holdings LLC and Paragon Realty Group LLC in the trade of Samsondale Plaza, a 156,185-square-foot property at 45 South Route 9W in West Haverstraw. An affiliate of Northeast Capital Group purchased the Stop & Shop-anchored center.
“Well-located grocery-anchored retail with upside in the rent roll continues to be in high demand today as investors look to increase their retail holdings,” JLL’s Jose Cruz said. “Samsondale provides a great current yield with a stable tenant base and future appreciation.”
Cruz completed the deal alongside J.B. Bruno, Steve Simonelli, Michael Oliver, Kevin O’Hearn and Austin Pierce, along with Andrew Scandalios.
