JMF Properties has completed a series of upgrades at a luxury townhome complex in Denville, seeking to accommodate residents who are spending more time at home.
The changes at Estling Village, a 100-unit property on 30 Estling Lake Road, include an updated business center, resident lounge and fitness center that were redesigned with both functionality and social distancing in mind, JMF said Wednesday. For instance, the business center features separate seating areas that can be used simultaneously with appropriate spacing, along with the addition of a new conference table that can be reserved for meetings or business events.
The firm has also expanded the clubhouse fitness center to allow more room for residents to exercise safely, while making room for new exercise equipment and smart TVs. Meantime, JMF highlighted outdoor spaces such as a picnic area with grills, tree-lined walkways and courtyards, bicycle storage and a recently added dog park.
“The quality of life of our residents is always our number one priority, and with the lifestyle needs of renters shifting in recent months, we thought it was a good time to update our amenity offering to allow for more efficient, safe and enjoyable use of the spaces,” said Joseph M. Forgione, the founder and principal of JMF Properties. “People are staying home more often and they need safe places to work and exercise. It’s our job to respond to the evolving needs of our residents. When we see a way that we can better meet those needs, we respond quickly and efficiently.”
All homes at Estling Village, which is steps from the Denville train station, have private entrances with secure keyless entry and either an attached or detached garage, JMF said. The townhome-style design means residents can access their homes directly without the need to share elevators or corridors.
Despite being minutes from downtown Denville, Forgione cited the need to refurbish its amenity spaces as residents spend more time at home. That has also prompted upgrades such as a revamped resident lounge with a new billiards table and a television, which can be reserved for major televised sports events and other occasions.
“Aesthetically the updates are consistent with the elegant, art deco style we implement at all of our properties,” Forgione added. “It is something we are proud to showcase and we are certainly encouraged by the consistent positive feedback we have been receiving from our residents.”
Estling Village includes one- and two-bedroom luxury units, some of which offer a den or library. The property is minutes from interstates 80 and 287, along with routes 46, 53, 10 and 24.
