The owner of an 11,000-square-foot office building in Verona has tapped Kay Commercial Realty as its leasing agent at the property.
The brokerage firm, which is based in Tinton Falls, said it was marketing 60 Pompton Ave. to both full-building users and to those seeking an existing 4,000-square-foot office. The latter option has been fit out with 11 custom offices for a law firm.
Kay Commercial’s Bill Klein is handling the leasing assignment, noting that the building will also be for sale once it’s leased.
“This is an ideal situation for any firm to utilize this strategic location or for small practitioners to have a private office close to their home, so they do not need to commute to New York City,” Klein said, noting the site’s proximity to mass transit, restaurants and shops in nearby Montclair, along with its access to Route 46, Interstate 280 and the Garden State Parkway.
“As we have learned over the past several months, people are now seeking to be able to protect themselves by the use of private offices, which if were to be built today would be prohibitively expensive to rent,” he added. “Open office plans are no longer welcomed in the new age of COVID-19. Offering rents below market are now available in a variety of layouts ranging from a single office to multiple office units.”
In a news release, Kay Commercial said the space includes private offices, some with working fireplaces, along with conference rooms with skylights and custom shelving, a full law library and a working kitchen and numerous other facilities. The offices will be rented on an individual shared facility basis or as a single unit.
