OUR ADVANTAGE
Our moniker: “We’re deal-makers, not deal-breakers.” We pride ourselves on our relationships with the New Jersey brokerage community and our ability to facilitate transactions of all stripes. Through our university research alliances, we are thought leaders in dozens of other areas including downtown redevelopment efforts, infrastructure planning, transit villages and hubs and the innovations for special needs, seniors and other at-risk populations, to name a few. Our bundled service offerings allow KG/KNA to act as lead professionals in all areas of services.
ON THE HORIZON
New Jersey will rebound strongly post-pandemic. The suburban office market which is being reinvented now will sustain and additional volume is on the way now that people hunger to get back to normalcy. We are all collectively a part of the transition and transformation leading up to this point and its pivotal stages in these historical times for the tristate real estate market.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Our recent transformation of a 1970s-era headquarters for a national insurance company consisted of a full gut and restoration of this 225,000-sf structure. Working closely with the client, a 25-year-long continuing relationship, we envisioned the complete reinvention of this structure to include a glass reskinning of the building, new open-air balconies and rooftop terraces, and a new four-story atrium bisecting the building from front to back. Open plan work areas were transformed and our FFE division acted as procurement agent and specifier for over $6.5 million in new product for this $62.5 million refit. A new 500-car parking deck designed by the firm was also a part of the redevelopment program which included outdoor fitness trails, walking paths and a 2,500-sf glass pyramid feature in the front entry plaza that revealed a formerly buried floor now transformed as a sun-filled conference center. This major project demonstrates our success with our firm’s bundled platform of service offerings.
