The longtime owner of a 50-unit apartment building in Paterson is seeking a buyer for the property, according to a listing team with The Kislak Co. Inc.
Located at 555 East 27th St., the collection of studios and one-, two, and three-bedroom rentals benefits from a location near major highways and residents’ ability to easily access Manhattan. The building is now on the market for the first time in more than 20 years, in an offering spearheaded by Kislak Senior Vice President Joseph Keenan.
“Tudor Court is a great opportunity for an investor to acquire a well-kept building with large apartments in one of Paterson’s best locations,” Keenan said. “Its close proximity to New York City and public transportation, combined with spacious units and strong curb appeal, makes Tudor Court an attractive long-term investment.”
In a news release, Kislak said the 57,000-square-foot building has an average unit size of some 1,143 square feet. Notably, 56 percent of the units consist of two- and three-bedroom layouts, while all three-bedroom units have one and a half or two bathrooms.
The listing team also touted the appeal of Tudor Court’s original architectural details, contributing to its longstanding appeal and occupancy stability. And, with its location in Paterson’s Eastside Park neighborhood, the property is less than a mile from McLean Boulevard and some 2.5 miles from the Garden State Parkway.
The George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel are some 14 and 21 miles away, respectively.
