Kokes Properties has hired a construction industry veteran as the latest addition to its in-house development team in New Jersey.
The firm, which is based in Brielle, said Michael Carty joins its team as a construction manager. He brings 18 years of construction experience, having worked in disciplines such as project management, field supervision, third-party inspections and testing.
Most recently, Carty worked as a project superintendent for ARCO Design/Build, where he oversaw several large-scale commercial and industrial developments, according to a news release. He will be primarily responsible for overseeing daily construction activities for Kokes’ New Jersey-based projects, including the firm’s flagship development, The Mill at Riverside.
The approved 190-unit multifamily community in Burlington County is expected to break ground this month.
“We are thrilled to bring Mike on board to assist us with our in-house construction management,” said Matt Stephens, Kokes Properties’ vice president of development and head of construction services. “We believe Mike’s diverse background will prove to be invaluable to our firm as we aim to scale our operation to meet the rigorous demands of our development pipeline.”
