A laboratory supply company has leased more than 9,000 square feet of office space in Paramus, in one of two newly announced deals by Cushman & Wakefield.
According to the brokerage team, Thermo Fisher Scientific Co. LLC will operate a sales office on the second floor of 95 Route 17 North, the site of what’s known as Paramus Corporate Center. C&W’s Jeffrey Prezant represented ownership in the 9,302-square-foot transaction at the newly renovated, 119,846-square-foot building, which is about a half-mile north of Westfield Garden State Plaza and provides quick access to several other highways.
Prezant also represented the landlord, Paramus Route 17 Holdings LLC, in a 4,104-square-foot lease with Behavioral Health Practice Services LLC, a health care and social assistance practice.
“Ownership has thoughtfully invested millions of dollars to renovate the building to create a best-in-class post-pandemic environment for their tenants, resulting in a completely updated office asset that has everything today’s tenants want and need to be back in the office,” he said. “The property has undergone an incredible transformation and features brand new modern amenities, including a café and fitness center, to create an atmosphere where tenants truly want to be. Our tenants are excited to be back in the office and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more new tenants to this refreshed building.”
In announcing the deals, C&W noted that Paramus Corporate Center has a modernized lobby and new common areas, flooring, roofing, lighting and bathrooms, with a focus on sustainable and energy-efficient materials. Amenities include a new café, kitchen and fitness center.
