Lincoln Equities Group has completed $2 million in upgrades at two office properties just outside downtown Morristown, where it’s now marketing nearly 120,000 square feet.
The larger of the two, 60 Columbia Road, is a two-building, 156,000-square-foot complex that now features a redesigned lobby entrance with granite, new artwork and sculptures, the landlord said in a news release. Other improvements include upgrades to the HVAC system, a new roof, patio area with furniture and an enhanced landscape design, along with a modern fitness center and full-service cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating.
“We are pleased with the substantial improvements we’ve made at our Morristown properties,” said Joel Bergstein, president with Lincoln Equities Group, or LEG. “The renovations have created modern spaces that fit the needs of corporations and medical offices seeking to expand or relocate.
“The upgrades respond to the evolving needs of growing companies who seek to attract a millennial demographic.”
The firm and leasing agents with JLL are marketing a full building at 60 Columbia.
“Building B at 60 Columbia is 100 percent leased with big-name tenants like Simon Premium Outlets and the McKesson Corporation, and Building A is entirely available,” said Dennis McConnell, executive vice president of real estate for JLL. “It’s an incredible opportunity for a company to come in and make the 78,000-square-foot property their own.”
LEG has also completed upgrades at the 151,400-square-foot 100 Southgate Parkway building about 2.5 miles away. The renovations include door and entry enhancements, a revamped exterior aesthetic and new landscaping lining the building.
The building is currently home to Verizon Wireless and Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. In a news release, LEG touted the locations of both properties just off Interstate 287 and Route 24 in Morristown and their convenience to the downtown amenities.
“These properties offer a tremendous chance for a company seeking to lease in this area,” said Ken Flynn, LEG’s senior director of leasing. “Being able to lease 78,000 square feet of space in a suburban environment just outside Morristown’s thriving downtown district is an incredible asset.”
