A commercial moving service is relocating from Staten Island after acquiring a 20,100-square-foot industrial building in Irvington, a broker with NAI James E. Hanson said Tuesday.
In a news release, the real estate services firm said it represented Total Relocation Services LLC in its purchase of 17 Camptown Road. Its new building is a single-story warehouse with 22-foot ceiling heights, two loading docks and one drive-in, offering quick access to Interstate 78, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
NAI Hanson’s Barry Cohorsky represented the buyer, while Todd Smith, principal of the Acclaim Group, represented the seller.
“The Essex County industrial market continues to provide an attractive destination for businesses seeking to relocate to a more affordable, flexible and accessible location,” Cohorksy said. “This sustained demand has made finding space in the market a challenge that requires the guidance of an experienced commercial real estate broker to navigate.
“This deal is the latest example of how our team successfully leverages our experience and knowledge to work with firms to find space to allow for a relocation to New Jersey.”
Total Relocation Services supports clients through its move management, installation and commercial moving services, the news release said. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to local businesses.
As part of its move from Staten Island, Total Relocation Services was searching for an industrial space that allowed it to access current clients and employees near Staten Island, as well as new clients.
