Larken Associates has completed a major update of a nearly 43,000-square-foot professional and medical office building in Warren County, the real estate firm announced Wednesday.
The company said the property, located in the Stewartsville section of Greenwich Township, has new sconces with LED lighting, carpet tile flooring, furniture, signage, wallpaper and wall paintings throughout its common areas and hallways. That has created a refreshed, contemporary atmosphere at what’s known as Greenwich Commons, capitalizing on a location just off Route 22 and about a quarter-mile from Interstate 78.
Core Enterprises, Larken’s in-house construction division, completed the project at the two-story, 42,896-square-foot building at 1 Greenwich St. The firm noted that the update reflects its long-term ownership strategy, which centers around delivering a premier tenant experience in one of the tightest regional markets in the country, adding that it continues to reinvest in assets across its roughly 4 million-square-foot commercial portfolio.
“We take deep pride in ownership, and unlike developers who build and sell, we hold our properties well beyond completion of construction and fully commit to always keeping them updated and uniquely appealing,” said Jillian Dorell, director of design at Larken Associates. “This approach helps us keep tenant retention rates across our commercial portfolio above industry standards and positions our buildings among the most attractive to companies and health care providers in the market.”
