Larken Associates is welcoming a new tenant to a Somerset County shopping center, having signed a 2,700-square-foot lease with a personal injury law firm.
The practice, Levinson Axelrod P.A., is relocating its Hillsborough office as part of the transaction at 90 East Somerset St. in Raritan. Its new home is part of the three-building, 62,955-square-foot center along Route 206 known as Raritan Crossing.
Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty represented Larken Associates, while Charles G. Horn of Keller Williams Cornerstone Realty represented the 81-year-old law firm.
“While this deal was set in motion prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting shutdowns, there were numerous obstacles our team expertly overcame to bring this transaction across the finish line,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “Not only were we able to adeptly execute the lease deal but we were also able to leverage our design and construction teams to handle the build out of the space. In these uncertain times, our fully integrated in-house capabilities make all the difference in ensuring that transactions are not only executed quickly and efficiently, but that tenants can get into their spaces that much sooner.”
