Lee & Associates New Jersey has donated $10,000 to a fund managed by St. Joseph’s Health, seeking to support the hospital network in its battle against the coronavirus crisis.
The firm, which is based in Elmwood Park, provided the gift to the network’s COVID-19 Response Fund, according to a news release. Donations will help the Paterson-based system fulfill its greatest needs as it cares for patients during the pandemic, such as restocking medical supplies and specialized safety equipment, expanding testing capabilities and implementing technology that could enhance contact between patients and their families.
“Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, St. Joseph’s heroic staff of dedicated professionals have been providing exceptional care to patients and the community at large,” said Brian Lynch, principal of Lee & Associates New Jersey. “As longstanding local residents and business owners, we’re committed to supporting our front-line workers. They need our help now more than ever to continue to fight this pandemic. We hope our donation urges others to make similar donations.”
Lee & Associates, which has a longstanding relationship with the health care network, said it also aims to support St. Joseph’s medical staff working countless hours.
“We are so grateful to have the support of Lee & Associates, especially during these trying times,” said Robert B. Budelman, III, the chief development officer for St. Joseph’s Health Foundation. “The generous donation will directly benefit our front-line caregivers and the surrounding communities.”
