A development team has launched leasing at a collection of more than 200 upscale apartments in East Rutherford.
Sterling Properties, which has partnered with Willton Investment Group, announced that it’s now marketing the 208-unit complex at 80 Oak St. Made up of seven private buildings, the property known as Central & Oak includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes, offering a location that is close to mass transit and less than 10 miles from Manhattan.
Rents start at $1,975.
“We’re already experiencing strong interest from the increased number of renters who are seeking brand new, spacious, apartments in an airy, green-friendly environment that doesn’t force them to sacrifice accessibility and convenience to entertainment, dining, shopping and recreation,” said Nicholas Hollenbeck, director of sales and marketing for Sterling Properties. “With an exceptional location, expansive layouts and ample outdoor space, including private balconies, we believe Central & Oak represents a new kind of luxury living in the New York area.”
In a news release, the developers noted that each building at Central & Oak has individual garage parking, extra storage space and elevator access. Apartments feature luxury design, appliances and finishes, while residents have access to green spaces such as a lawn for outdoor movie showings, a fire pit, grills and a community dog park.
“Our development and interior design teams crafted a stunning offering of on-site amenities for our residents to enjoy including a community clubhouse with outdoor terrace,” said Chris Luo, managing director of Willton Investment Group. She cited features such as a conference room with work-from-home capabilities, a game room and a modern fitness center.
Central & Oak also offers a community shuttle service that will run to and from the Rutherford train station, which offers a 25-minute commute to Midtown.
