RIPCO Real Estate has welcomed longtime retail broker Bill Lenaz as a senior managing director based in its Red Bank office, the firm announced Tuesday.
In his new role, Lenaz will focus on retail leasing, investment sales and strategic advisory services throughout the tristate area, according to a news release. He’ll do so while leveraging more than 30 years of experience representing retailers, shopping center owners, developers and investors across New Jersey, Staten Island, Long Island and Westchester and Rockland counties in New York.
“Bill has built an outstanding reputation as one of the region’s premier retail brokers through decades of exceptional execution, deep market knowledge and trusted client relationships,” said Mark Kaplan, president of RIPCO Real Estate. “His expertise in retail leasing, new developments and complex transactions aligns perfectly with RIPCO’s platform and client-first approach. We’re excited to welcome Bill to the team as we continue expanding our presence and delivering best-in-class retail advisory services throughout the tristate area.”
Lenaz has spent his career specializing exclusively in retail real estate, honing what RIPCO said was his profound market expertise, strong work ethic and credibility throughout the industry. He has extensive experience completing complex transactions for both new developments and existing shopping centers, advising clients through every stage of the leasing and development process.
In the process, Lenaz has worked with major national retailers such as Whole Foods, Best Buy, P.C. Richard & Son, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, Barnes & Noble, ALDI and Trader Joe’s, among many others, the news release said. He has also completed many transactions with leading pad site users such as Chase Bank, Walgreens, Wawa, Starbucks and Chick-fil-A, in addition to facilitating more than 40 full-service restaurant transactions.
“I am thrilled to join RIPCO and become part of one of the industry’s most respected retail real estate firms,” Lenaz said. “RIPCO’s entrepreneurial culture, collaborative team and reputation for delivering exceptional results make it the ideal platform to continue growing my business and serving my clients. I look forward to working alongside such an accomplished group of professionals while helping retailers, landlords and developers achieve their objectives.”
Lenaz, a Holmdel resident, holds a bachelor’s in computer science from New York University.
