A lighting company has leased nearly 29,000 square feet at a Bridgewater office campus, in the larger of two newly announced transactions by Avison Young.
Brokers say the tenant, Signify North America, is moving its headquarters to 400 Crossing Blvd. after committing to the 28,815-square-foot space. The LED lighting system provider will occupy the sixth floor of the building, part of a complex known as Bridgewater Crossing that spans more than 600,000 square feet.
Avison Young Principal William McCaffrey and Associate Evan Bernard represented ownership in the deal, as they did in a 17,800-square-foot lease with ConvaTec Group. The medical technology company, which is relocating its New Jersey office, will occupy the first floor of 200 Crossing Blvd.
The campus is now 97.5 percent leased.
“Bridgewater Crossing continues to see steady leasing activity as occupiers plan for a return to the office and evaluate their company’s spacing needs,” McCaffrey said. “These new leases are an indication of the strength of the New Jersey office market’s recovery as we enter a post-COVID era. We are confident the appetite for Class A suburban office space will continue to drive demand and that Bridgewater Crossing’s sustainable practices, modern design and robust amenities package position the property as a unique offering with the ability to accommodate a diverse range of tenant types.”
JLL’s Dan Spero and CBRE’s Remy DeVarenne represented Signify and ConvaTec in the deals, respectively. In a news release, Avison Young noted that Bridgewater Crossing recently underwent a series of renovations and offers a full-service cafeteria, a café, a fitness center, conference facilities and other amenities, along with 515 surface parking spaces in addition to 200 covered parking spaces.
The complex provides direct access to interstates 287 and 78 and routes 22 and 206, plus a host of surrounding retail and hospitality offerings. Other tenants at the property include Brother International, Amneal Pharmaceuticals and Harding Lovener LP.
