Columbia Bank has shed a nearly 1,800-square-foot former bank branch in Paramus, according to a brokerage team with The Goldstein Group.
Brokers with the firm represented both parties in the transaction at 135 South Fairview Ave., which the lender sold to Tiger Buying Group LLC. Neil Goldstein, a principal of The Goldstein Group and Roy Paret, a sales associate, arranged the sale of the 1,760-square-foot property.
In a separate deal, The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Mark Handwerker represented Monmouth Queen Realty in its sale of a 6,300-square-foot shopping center at 128-130 Wyckoff Road in Eatontown. Darrin Hiban of Tri State Commercial Realty represented the buyer, Zoom Plaza LLC.
“We continue to see a market where owners are looking to sell their property in light of what is happening in today’s economy,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “Both properties had a tremendous amount of interest and we were able to provide the advice to benefit the owner.”
