The parent company of Lipton teas has unveiled its new full-floor office space in downtown Hoboken after a buildout spearheaded by SJP Project Solutions
According to a news release, Ekaterra Tea occupies 15,183 square feet at Waterfront Corporate Center II at 121 River St. SJP Project Solutions, the third-party development management arm of SJP Properties, spearheaded interior construction of a space that it says is tailored to the distinctive brands within Lipton Teas and Infusions.
“121 River Street is the choice of several leading brands for the allure Hoboken has as a walkable, safe, transit-oriented location,” said Alexander Erdos, SJP’s senior vice president for leasing and development. “We are proud that Lipton selected us to build out their full floor with a bespoke branded design. Maintaining our buildings with state-of-the-art custom buildouts and pristine public spaces enables our office assets to remain the most sought-after Class A properties in the region.”
Ekaterra Tea, the world’s largest tea business, is part of a high-profile tenant roster at SJP’s master-planned, 1.5 million-square-foot Waterfront Corporate Center. The office and retail development along the Hudson River is adjacent to the W Hoboken Hotel and steps from Hoboken Terminal’s NJ Transit, PATH, NY Waterway and Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service, while tenants have immediate access to the amenities throughout the Mile Square City.
