An indoor playground operator has leased 14,000 square feet at a Jersey City shopping center, Levin Management Corp. announced recently.
The retail brokerage and property manager said the property, Twin City Shopping Center, will serve as the third New Jersey location for Kidz Village. The operator, which is geared toward children age 10 and under, offers a multilevel indoor playground, ball-launching castle, arcade restaurant and creative theme rooms where visitors can pretend to work and play.
Its new location sits at Garfield Avenue and West 55th Street, near the Bayonne border.
LMC Leasing Represenative E.J. Moawad, whose firm serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 94,000-square-foot shopping center, represented the landlord. Augie Caruso of Jeffery Realty served as tenant broker.
“Kidz Village is a family-centric concept that represents an exciting new element for Twin City Shopping Center,” Moawad said. “This entertainment-oriented destination will be an excellent draw for the property and a wonderful community amenity for families with youngsters.”
The new location follows Kidz Village locations in Kenilworth and Woodbridge, LMC said. Open daily, the business also hosts birthday parties and school and community events.
The operator joins a tenant mix including Aqui Market, Retro Fitness, Everything $.99, Wendy’s among others.
