A local jeweler is expanding at the Jersey Shore with the completion of a new 1,200-square-foot lease in Manasquan, in a newly announced deal by Levin Management Corp.
The deal at Wall Towne Center, located at 2433-2445 Route 34, marks the second area location for Blaine’s Jewelry Box, which has operated in nearby Brick since 1993, according to a news release. It also brings the 100,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored retail property to full occupancy.
“Blaine’s Jewelry Box was seeking a well-located shopping center with an in-place tenant mix that draws significant, repeat traffic. This property checked every box,” said Kendal Hand-Freda, an LMC leasing representative. “As an established, locally owned business — with a loyal clientele — this newest addition will even further enhance Wall Towne Center’s ‘destination’ appeal for shoppers.”
Hand-Freda represented ownership at Wall Towne Center, which is a quarter-mile from the intersection of Route 35. ShopRite anchors the property with a 71,000-square-foot store, while other tenants include Ocean First Bank, Joe’s Bagel & Grill, Master Park’s Black Belt America, Great Clips, AT&T Wireless and Wine King, along with a strong roster of local restaurant and service providers.
Blaine’s Jewelry Box, for its part, sells a wide selection of jewelry ranging from custom handmade pieces to simple sterling silver items along with fine, vintage and estate jewelry, according to a news release. The new lease follows another recent addition at Wall Towne Center, Wall Eyecare Associates, which will open soon, with both leases reflecting continued confidence among independent retailers.
“These transactions certainly underscore the continued viability and resilience of brick-and-mortar retail,” Hand-Freda said.
