A flooring business is among the newest tenants at Larken Associates’ sprawling Hillsborough Business Center off Route 206, where it has leased nearly 1,100 square feet.
The real estate firm on Tuesday announced the transaction with Floor Coverings International, which joins the roster at the 27-building, 550,000-square foot campus on Stryker Lane. The 1,055-square-foot space will support a 34-year-old business that has more than 150 franchises operating across the U.S., boasting a manufacturer-direct business model.
Victor Kelly of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates, represented ownership in the transaction.
“Hillsborough Business Center continues to see a steady influx of leasing activity due to its ability to fit the needs of a wide variety of tenants,” said Kelly, an executive vice president with the firm. “We are happy to see businesses of all types continue to find homes that meet their unique needs within the campus. It’s our pleasure to welcome Floor Coverings International and are excited to play a role in their continued success.”
Spanning 100 acres, Hillsborough Business Center is located a block east of Route 206 and is minutes from several major highways in the area. Tenant at the property come from several industries, including research and development, lab, warehousing, distribution, light manufacturing and product assembly, as well as fitness, recreation and daycare.
