The 239,000-square-foot Flemington Marketplace on Route 202 is now fully leased after a new commitment from Norman’s Hallmark, in a deal announced by Levin Management Corp.
According to a news release, the card and gift retailer will open soon in a 4,100-square-foot space at the Flemington shopping center. It comes alongside the upcoming debut of Target, on Aug. 17, part of a property-wide enhancement that centers in part on the new anchor tenant.
Vanessa Kelty, a senior leasing representative with LMC, represented ownership in the deal at 325 Route 202. Rose Urban of Equity Retail Brokers represented Norman’s Hallmark, which will open its fourth location within Levin’s leasing and management portfolio.
“We are excited to introduce Norman’s Hallmark to Flemington, and look forward to bringing customers the quality brands and great service for which our stores are known,” said Howard Henschel, CEO and president. “Flemington Marketplace is home to a quality assortment of retailers, and Target is a great addition. This center is a perfect fit for us.”
Norman’s Hallmark will occupy a space that previously housed another Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, offering a complete line of Hallmark products, cards and Keepsake Ornaments, along with a diverse merchandise selection for gift giving and the home, the news release said. LMC noted that the business, which is based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, has grown from a single store in Trenton to a portfolio that spans nearly 100 locations with a strong ecommerce presence.
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Norman’s Hallmark,” Kelty said. “Following the significant transformation and Target’s addition to the anchor lineup at Flemington Marketplace, it is welcome news — both for local residents and the center’s in-place tenants — that one of the foremost independent Hallmark Gold Crown chains has chosen to locate here.”
The center’s anchors also include Kohl’s, Michaels and ALDI, which operate alongside other national brands such as Chili’s, Panera Bread, Verizon Wireless, Poke Café and Cold Stone Creamery, LMC said. Nothing Bundt Cakes is also slated to open at the center, adding to the property’s lineup of specialty food, personal services and retail offerings.
