An Asian fusion restaurant has committed to a new location in Flemington, having leased more than 2,000 square feet inside a prominent shopping center in the borough.
According to Levin Management Corp., the leasing and managing agent at Flemington Marketplace, Poke Café will occupy 2,400 square feet at the 239,000-square-foot property. The deal brings the complex to 100 percent occupancy, as the fast casual eatery joins a mix of retailers and other food service providers at the Route 202 center.
“Increasingly, consumers are looking for freshly prepared meals that are nutritious, flavorful and high in quality,” said LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty, who arranged the lease. “Poke Café adds another desirable fast-casual dining option at Flemington Marketplace, and we are excited to bring this concept to the community.”
The firm said Poke Café will serve a variety of customizable poke bowls — raw, diced fish tossed with rice, vegetables and sauces — along with bubble and fruit teas. It will operate alongside anchor tenants Burlington, Kohl’s, Michaels and ALDI, plus users such as Chili’s, Panera Bread, Cold Stone Creamery and others.
