A logistics firm is coming to New Jersey after leasing more than 57,000 square feet of industrial space in East Rutherford, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced Tuesday.
The Pomona, California-based tenant, Temco Logistics, provides white-glove home goods delivery and installation services for some of the country’s largest retailers, according to a news release. It’s now set to occupy 57,076 square feet at 450 Murray Hill Parkway under a lease with Safer Development & Management, the owner of the 340,000-square-foot property.
NAI Hanson’s Scott Perkins, Chris Todd and William Ericksen represented the tenant in its quest to grow in the New York City metropolitan area, the firm said. Monte Radfar, Safer Development’s senior vice president marketing and leasing, represented ownership alongside Eric Lewin of Team Resources Inc.
“While the northern New Jersey industrial market is exceedingly tight right now, spaces are available if you know where to look,” Perkins said. “However, competition for these rare spaces can often be high. In these current conditions, our experience, local contacts and ability to move quickly have been critical in helping clients like Temco Logistics secure space that aligns with their businesses’ exact needs and budgets.”
NAI Hanson noted that 450 Murray Hill Parkway is less than a mile from the Metlife Sports Complex and provides easy access to the tristate area via the New Jersey Turnpike and several other highways, including routes 3, 17, 21 and 46. Temco Logistics’ new space has 24-foot clear ceiling heights, five tailboards, two drive-ins and 4,700 square feet of office space.
