Closings are underway at a collection of beachfront condominiums in Long Branch, where a development and brokerage team has sold more than half of the property’s 57 homes.
Developer Mark Built Homes announced this week that it recorded its first closing on Feb. 11, more than a month ahead of schedule, at the property known as 365 Ocean. The milestone comes alongside the recent completion of what it says are hotel-style amenities and social spaces at the property, where prices currently range from the low $900s to more than $2.7 million.
“We’re delighted to start handing over the keys to these exceptional oceanfront residences,” said David Schoner, vice president of Coldwell Banker New Homes of Madison, which is overseeing sales at the Ocean Avenue property. “Our current homebuyers are thrilled to have the time to settle into their new homes and fully enjoy the upcoming warm-weather seasons, while prospective buyers can still do the same.”
Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects, the seven-story building offers two-bedroom homes with up to 2,411 square feet of living space, according to a news release. Each home features ocean views and private outdoor space, while the property is steps from the beach and within walking distance of the landmark Pier Village complex.
The project team also includes Chicago-based interior designer Mary Cook & Associates, the news release said. Along with upscale interiors, fixtures and appliances, residents have access to a second-floor amenity level with a club room with wet bar, WiFi, charging stations, lounge seating and a theater television area.
The Mark Built property also has an infinity-edge plunge pool and an outdoor breezeway with a gas fire pit that overlooks the ocean. Meantime, residents can provide access to their guests through a smartphone app without the need to leave the beach or pool.
“365 Ocean is situated on a stunning oceanfront property,” said Michael Markovitz, president of Mark Built Homes, which has developed upscale properties in towns such as Summit, Madison, Tenafly, Basking Ridge and Morris Township. “With such a beautiful location, we were committed to delivering a collection of residences and amenities that take full advantage of the natural surroundings, especially the breathtaking views. We’re delighted that closings are now underway and we’re excited that our residents will soon be able to live the beachfront lifestyle to the fullest.”
