A commercial glass distributor has leased 29,000 square feet of warehouse space in Clifton, in a newly announced deal by Lee & Associates New Jersey.
The brokerage firm announced Wednesday that it represented Longpoint Realty Partners, the landlord at 31 Styertowne Road, in the transaction with H Global Commerce Inc. The commitment follows Longpoint’s recent purchase of the single-story, multitenant warehouse, which is part of a two-building campus just off Route 3 and 12 miles from Manhattan.
Lee & Associates New Jersey’s Josh Krantz, Michael Schaible and Troy Wisse completed the assignment on behalf of the Boston-based investment firm. David Simon of Prominent Properties served as tenant broker.
“Interest in this opportunity not only reflects sustained velocity for industrial leasing in northern New Jersey, but also shows strong momentum for the greater Clifton industrial submarket,” Krantz said. “If we showed the building two dozen times, 20 prospects came from New York City. In every case, they commented on the proximity and convenience of this location.”
Krantz also brokered Longpoint’s acquisition of the property, which provides easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway, Route 21 and other regional highways. The complex has multiple loading docks, drive-in doors and ample parking, while ownership is also planning to replace windows and install LED lighting.
