Brentwood Realty has acquired more than 24,000 square feet of retail space in Glen Rock, in a newly announced deal by Cushman & Wakefield.
The brokerage team represented the seller, Rock Glen Associates LLC, in the transaction at 886-924 Prospect St. According to a news release, the 24,353-square-foot neighborhood retail center is fully leased and sits on a 2.8-acre lot with 506 feet of frontage on Prospect Street with average daily traffic of more than 12,000 vehicles.
The property’s 10 tenants include specialty grocer Rock Farmers Market, Jewish deli Kosher Nosh and Dunkin’, which occupies the end cap space.
“This sale highlights the continued appeal of prime retail assets in Bergen County,” Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Schwartz said. “With the property hitting the market for the first time in over 48 years, its full occupancy and diverse tenant lineup attracted substantial attention, leading to more than 30 offers.”
The Cushman team of Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri spearheaded the sale, touting the property’s access to the Garden State Parkway and routes 4 and 17 within four miles. Terms were not disclosed.
