A maker of plastic products has leased more than 30,000 square feet of industrial space in Saddle Brook, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced Wednesday.
The real estate services firm represented ownership in the lease at 421 North Midland Ave., where Leco Plastics Inc. is taking 31,550 square feet. The tenant, which manufactures cable ties, nylon ties, plastic ties, zip ties and plastic handles, will use the location for manufacturing and distribution, thanks in part to its proximity to Interstate 80 and the Garden State Parkway.
NAI Hanson’s Steven Leitner and Scott Perkins completed the assignment on behalf of Wilbur ’96 LLC.
“The region’s accessibility to major population centers and excellent highway connectivity continues to make it a strategic location for manufacturing companies like Leco Plastics,” Perkins said. “Through a deep understanding of the market, we are able to work with our clients to ensure that they can properly market their spaces in line with this demand and attract high quality tenants like Leco Plastics.”
NAI Hanson, which also provides management services at 421 Midland Ave., touted the building’s 5,000 square feet of office space, parking for 33 cars, 20-foot ceiling height and three tailgates.
“As the brokerage model continues to evolve, we understand that our clients are searching for a wide range of service lines in their chosen real estate brokerage,” said Ivette Correa, chief operating officer of NAI James E. Hanson’s property management group. “Our Property Management Group is yet another example of NAI James E. Hanson’s ongoing evolution to better meet the needs of our clients through providing a full suite of commercial real estate services backed by the local market knowledge and expertise that has always made our team uniquely suited to excel in one of the nation’s most competitive real estate markets.”
