A private investor has sold a 30-unit apartment complex in Upstate New York for nearly $3.6 million, in a deal arranged by Marcus & Millichap’s New Jersey office.
In a news release, the brokerage firm said it represented both parties in the transaction at 11-21 Ashdown Road in Ballston Lake. The buyer, whose name was undisclosed, paid $3.55 million for what’s known as the Green Oak Blue Barns Apartments, a garden-style property about 30 minutes from Albany and other major cities in the region.
“The seller had extensively renovated the complex over the course of ownership and the quality of the offering reflected the numerous offers the property commanded,” said Marcus & Millichap’s Chip Collins, who completed the assignment.
