A cheese wholesaler and importer has leased 1,100 square feet of office space in Chatham, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
The brokerage team said the tenant, Galaxy Dairy Products Inc., is relocating to 13 Watchung Ave. after more than 40 years in Ramsey. Its new space will provide it with easy access to interstates 78, 280 and 287, along with Route 24, and a location closer to the home of the company’s second-generation leaders.
NAI Hanson’s Andrew Kirshenbaum and Tom Ryan represented the landlord, James Prisco Jr.
“This deal demonstrates our team’s unique ability to craft tailor-made marketing strategies to attract quality tenants, and we are thrilled to have successfully secured yet another tenant for this property on behalf of our client,” Kirshenbaum said. “Our hyperlocal market knowledge and expertise created an ideal situation for the tenant as well, who can now enjoy a space better suited to its needs now and in the future.”
In a news release, NAI Hanson noted that 13 Watchung Ave. is part of an adjoined two-building complex. The lease with Galaxy Dairy Products brings the entire property to full occupancy.
