An investor has purchased the site of a net-leased early childhood education center in Hunterdon County, in a newly announced transaction by Marcus & Millichap.
According to the brokerage team, the undisclosed buyer paid $3.9 million for the property at 1541 Route 31 in Clinton Township. The location is home to The Goddard School, which occupies 9,500 square feet.
Marcus & Millichap’s Alan Cafiero and Brent Hyldahl represented both parties.
“The property was built in 2013 specifically for Goddard and they have operated here as a successful daycare since, weathering the pandemic and growing again to max capacity,” the brokers said in a prepared statement. “The tenant recently extended 15 years, showing commitment to the location, and providing a long term, passive investment for the purchaser.”
