A marketing and communications firm has renewed its lease at a Bridgewater office building, under a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
Brokers with the firm represented the tenant, R&J Strategic Communications, in the transaction at 1140 Route 22 East. The agency has been a tenant at the 95,653-square-foot property since 2005 and has expanded in recent years, prompting it to rethink its office space and pursue extensive renovations.
NAI Hanson’s Joshua Levering and Nick DePaolera negotiated the renewal for the space while working with ownership, Signature Acquisitions, to provide R&J with temporary space within the building known as CenterPointe IV.
“Although office renovations are often something to be excited about, the transitionary period from old to new can cause considerable disruption if not handled correctly,” Levering said. “Fortunately, we were able to leverage our expertise in similar transactions to work closely with both R&J Strategic Communications’ senior leadership team and CenterPointe’s ownership to find a solution that allowed R&J to embark on this renovation and establish a long-term home for their growing business at the complex.”
Part of the four-building, 21-acre office park known as CenterPointe at Bridgewater, the three-story building has easy access to interstates 78 and 287 and routes 202 and 206.
R&J, which has been in operation since 1986, serves national and regional health care, consumer products, real estate and nonprofit brands with communications counsel and marketing and communications services.
