A former U.S. marine has joined Vantage Real Estate Services as its director of strategic partnerships, the Marlton-based firm announced Friday.
The new hire, Paul Garraty, joins Vantage RES with both his military background and experience in political affairs. His responsibilities include growing the firm’s influence in the booming commercial real estate development market in South Jersey and Philadelphia.
The brokerage and advisory business, which is less than a year old, touted Garraty’s leadership skills and ability to adapt quickly and move decisively.
“As a veteran myself, I appreciate and admire our veterans and am honored to have Paul join my team,” said Leor Hemo, Vantage RES’ managing principal and founder. “I know he will perform well and help us grow our presence and service in the region.”
Following his career with the Marine Corps, Garraty became involved in community advocacy for veterans and worked with the state Legislature, giving way to other opportunities in public affairs, according to a news release. As a campaign field director, Garraty was instrumental in securing thousands of votes leading to state Sen. Chris Brown’s recent victory.
“I joined Vantage RES to help businesses succeed and improve the economy of the place I call home for future generations,” Garraty said. “I chose Vantage because teamwork and vigor are ingrained in this company’s DNA.
“We provide our clients with a task force of mission-oriented professionals who work harmoniously to get the job done. While some brokerages pit their agents against each other for commissions, Vantage puts clients’ needs over money.”
